Norwegian Government approves 2016 Fiscal Budget and submits CbC reporting proposal

The Norwegian Government approved its 2016 Fiscal Budget on December 14, 2015, in line with its proposal dated October 7, 2015. Further, in the white paper published on October 7, 2015, the Norwegian Government also noted that it would send its proposal for implementing a country-by-country (CbC) reporting obligation into Norwegian domestic law for public consultation. The proposal was sent for public consultation on December 2, 2015. According to the proposal, all multinational groups with annual consolidated group revenue equal to or exceeding NOK6.5 billion (approximately US$730 million) will be obliged to prepare and file a CbC report.
