Congo issues 2016 Financial Law

Congo's President promulgated law N 33-2015 comprising the 2016 Financial Law on December 31, 2015. This law has not yet been published in the Legal Newspaper. The new law requires payment of taxes exclusively by bank transfer. This is a major change for taxpayers in the payment method of taxes. This change comes into force from January 1, 2016 and is applicable to the tax return to be filed between February 10 and 20, 2016.
