26 February 2016 Israel introduces stricter criteria for work permits for foreign experts The Israeli immigration authorities have recently issued a new regulation which increases the qualifying criteria required to obtain work permits for foreign experts. This new regulation, which is effective immediately, also includes revised application procedures for foreign experts including different procedures dependent on whether the expert's role requires an academic degree or not.
