Vietnam issues new regulations on work permits

The Vietnam government has introduced Decree 11 to implement a number of articles of the Labour Code on Foreigners Working in Vietnam. The new regulations are effective April 1, 2016 and replace the current Decree. The new Decree will result in significant changes to work permit exemptions, timelines, required documents and the definition of specialists, managers and executive directors.
