Ontario and Nunavut budgets for 2016-17 discussed

Ontario Finance Minister Charles Sousa tabled the province's fiscal 2016-17 budget on February 25. The budget contains no new taxes, but includes several tax measures affecting individuals, trusts and corporations.

Nunavut Finance Minister Keith Peterson tabled the territory's fiscal 2016-17 budget on February 25. The budget contains no new taxes and no tax increases. An update on the comprehensive review of Nunavut taxation system launched by the Department of Finance will be provided in the coming year.
