EU finance ministers reach conclusions on new rules for Code of Conduct

The Economic and Financial Affairs Council of the European Union (ECOFIN), which is made up by the Finance Ministers of all European Union (EU) Member States, announced on March 8, conclusions for new rules regarding the Code of Conduct on business taxation. With these conclusions, the work of the ECOFIN sub-group which oversees whether the Member States are in compliance with the Code of Conduct should be made more effective and transparent.
