South Sudan releases Finance Act 2014-2015

South Sudan released the Finance Act for fiscal year 2014- 2015 on March 29. The Act was released after being signed into law on December 10, 2015. Implementation of some of the changes has been made retroactive to year 2015. The Finance Act has introduced higher tax rates for business profit tax and excise tax. It has also set forth and publicized government fees for various services offered by certain government institutions and departments.
