New customs law in Hungary discussed

As of May 1, the new Hungarian customs law will apply. The aim of this law is to implement EU customs legislation (Union Customs Code and the relevant legal acts) in Hungary. The most significant changes to the national customs legislation come into force on May 1. There are also related changes concerning value added tax. It is essential to have an accurate understanding of the EU customs legislation since these changes affect all economic entities engaged in customs activities.
