Exemption of residence permits and entry visas for ECOWAS nationals into Senegal discussed

Nationals of ECOWAS (the Economic Community of West African States) will no longer need to obtain a residence permit and entry visa before entering in Senegal due to new biometric identity cards being issued by ECOWAS countries. However, the cards do not replace work permits and ECOWAS nationals coming to Senegal for work will still need to apply for a Senegalese Work Permit.
