25 May 2016 Switzerland ends transitional measures on free movement of people for Bulgarian and Romanian nationals The transitional measures operated by Switzerland on the free movement of people for Bulgarian and Romanian nationals will cease on June 1. The Federal Swiss Ordinance introducing free movement of people has been modified accordingly, therefore Bulgarian and Romanian nationals will be able to work in Switzerland on the same basis as any other EU/EFTA national.
