Some Philadelphia employers are asked to resubmit their annual withholding reconciliation form asked to resubmit

The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue is asking employers and payroll service providers that used a previous paper version of the Annual Reconciliation 2015 Employer Wage Tax to resubmit the return using the correct version. (Email response to inquiry.)

The annual reconciliation form was revised in September 2015 to include 16 data lines as compared to the prior version with just 15 lines.

Employers of 250 or more employees are required by the Department to file Forms W-2 electronically over the Department's website. Employers may also file the annual reconciliation electronically in a separate transmission.

The 2015 annual reconciliation and Forms W-2 were originally due to the Department by February 29, 2016. Tax returns may be found here.
