Uruguay's Parliament approves Tax Information Exchange Agreement with Chile

On May 20, 2016, Uruguay's Parliament approved the Tax Information Exchange Agreement between Uruguay and Chile.

According to Article 13 of the agreement, it will enter into force on the date of receipt of the last notification between both states. The agreement would apply to tax periods beginning on or after the date of receipt or, when there are no tax periods, for all tax charges that arise on or after that date.
