Law firm clients: Plan to attend EY webcast, 'Sales tax seminar series' (August 11)

Our law firm clients should be sure to attend the next webcast in EY's Sales tax seminar series. This third interactive webcast (Thursday August 11 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET) in the series will address the sales and use tax implications of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), cloud-based businesses and related technology. (Register here.)

Entities doing business in multiple states face a number of state and local tax challenges, including managing compliance across different tax systems and dealing with various state revenue departments that are tasked with administering their states' tax laws. Ernst & Young LLP's Indirect Tax Practice hosts its sales tax quarterly webcast seminar series to help address these issues. Replays of the first two webcasts are also available:

— Seminar #1 (February 2016) — A practical discussion of nexus considerations (click here for replay)
— Seminar #2 (May 2016) — Sales tax structuring (click here for replay)
— Seminar #3 (August 2016) — Sales tax on cloud-based business, SaaS, & technology
— Seminar #4 (November 2016) — Managing sales tax systems and processes
