Polish Sejm passes amendments to corporate and personal income tax laws

Sejm (the lower chamber of the Polish Parliament) passed a bill on July 22, amending both the Corporate Income Tax (CIT) Act and Personal Income Tax (PIT) Act. The legislation and regulation changes will come into effect on January 1, 2017. The bill has been referred to the Senate (the upper chamber of the Polish Parliament). Once it passes the Senate, the bill goes to the President for final approval and signature.
