05 August 2016 Singapore announces increase to minimum qualifying salary for Employment Pass The Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has announced that the minimum qualifying salary for eligibility for Employment Pass (EP) applications will increase from S$3,300 to S$3,600, with effect from January 1, 2017. This is part of the MOM's regular updating of the EP qualifying salary to keep pace with rising local wages, maintain the quality of the country's foreign workforce, and enhance their complementarity to the local workforce.
