Australian Taxation Office releases international tax-related documents covering international tax, transfer pricing and GST issues

The Australian Taxation Office released several international tax-related documents on August 10. The documents cover various international tax, transfer pricing, and Goods and Services Tax issues using Taxpayer Alerts warning of ATO concerns about certain arrangements, a draft Tax Determination on another challenging area, and a draft Practical Compliance Guide on the ATO approach to transfer pricing issues related to offshore procurement, marketing, sales and distribution functions.
