Taiwan announces plan to tax crossborder e-commerce transactions

Taiwan's Ministry of Finance has announced its plan to amend the Business Tax Act to require foreign e-commerce operators who provide services to Taiwanese individual buyers to register with Taiwan's tax authority and pay business taxes in Taiwan.
