Hungary/United States social security agreement comes into force September 1

The Social Security Totalization Agreement (the Agreement) between Hungary and the US will enter into force with effect from September 1. The purpose of the Agreement is to ensure that individuals working between the two countries ,and their employers, fall under one country's social security system (Hungary or the US), avoiding instances of a double social security liability arising.
