Saudi Arabia to electronically issue Tax and Zakat Clearance Certificates

Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Zakat and Tax (GAZT) has issued a circular stating that Tax and Zakat Clearance Certificates (TZCC) will be issued electronically. The TZCC do not require a signature from the issuing authorities to validate these certificates. Tax or Zakat payers will be notified, through email, as soon as the GAZT system approves the issuance of TZCC. Based on this information, Tax or Zakat payers can download the certificate for their own records and provide a copy of the same to relevant authorities.
