Costa Rica revises income tax brackets for 2017

Costa Rica has revised the income tax brackets applicable to legal entities and individuals for tax year 2017 (i.e., from October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017).

The revised brackets were published in the Official Gazetteon September 29, 2016 and are as follows:

Corporate Income Tax1

Individual Income — Employment Income (Monthly Salary)2

Individual Income — Self Employed Income3

The new brackets are effective as of October 1, 2016.
