Saudi Arabia to apply Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters as of January 1, 2017

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) ratified the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters (the MAATM Convention or convention) on December 17, 2015 and it entered into force on April 1, 2016, three months after submission of the ratification instruments. The convention will apply for the KSA starting from January 1, 2017.
