19 October 2016 Equatorial Guinea experiencing delays in immigration processing due to governmental re-shuffling Equatorial Guinea is experiencing delays in its immigration program following changes in the government and the implementation of additional steps in some processes. The delays affect Letters of Initiation (LOIs), Residence Permits, Permanencies and Alternative Visas. The Equatorial Guinea government has, however, exempted companies within the oil and gas sector from the procedural changes to reduce the impact on this industry.
