OECD Tax certainty survey closes on December 16

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) launched a survey on October 18, inviting businesses and other stakeholders to contribute their views on tax certainty, in particular the effects of the direct and indirect tax system on business behavior. The results will be included in an OECD report to G20 leaders in advance of their 2017 Summit, setting out practical and concrete policy options aimed at fostering higher levels of certainty in the tax system. The survey closes on December 16. Some 240 business taxpayers have so far provided their views. Business taxpayers are recommended to take this opportunity to submit their views.

A Tax Alert prepared by Ernst & Young UK, and attached below, provides additional details.
