23 December 2016 Recent immigration updates in Singapore discussed The Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has recently released the following administrative updates: (i) an applicant's written consent is required before any work pass application can be submitted by or on behalf of the employer; (ii) approval is required before appointing an Employment Pass (EP) holder as a director of another company; and (iii) new EP applications are required for foreign employees transferring employment within related entities due to restructuring.
