Nevada 2018 state unemployment insurance wage base to increase

The Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation, Employment Security Division announced that the state unemployment insurance (SUI) taxable wage base for calendar year 2018 will increase to $30,500, up from $29,500 for 2017. The taxable wage base is calculated each year at 66 2/3% of the average annual wage paid to Nevada workers.

Nevada is one of many states that automatically adjusts the SUI wage base each year. In the Attachment, see the states in the chart with a blue dot.
