But what do the courts think? (BNA)

James Tobin, a partner with EY's International Tax Services group, recently authored an article published in BNA's Tax Management International Journal, discussing a few significant cases that could indicate a positive trend in the face of tax authority challenges regarding multinational companies.

According to the article, the current tax environment around the world is increasingly complex and in many ways hostile to global companies and also to global commerce. However, the author notes that some recent case law decisions are quite positive and in some respects buck the negative trend regarding global companies.
