EU Advocate General issues opinion on Danish withholding tax treatment of dividends distributed to foreign investment funds

European Union Advocate General held that the Danish rules on withholding tax on dividends to nonresident mutual investment funds are in breach with the EU principles of free movement of capital in an opinion issued on December 20.
