11 January 2018 2018 employment tax rates and limits are now available! Below you will find links to our preliminary report of the 2018 employment tax rates and limits and our final report for 2017. As you are aware, the federal income tax withholding rates and methods for 2018 are pending due to changes under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. The IRS is expected to provide preliminary information later this month. Several states have announced that their 2018 income tax withholding tables will not be available until the IRS issues this release and others will likely issue changes as they consider conformity with the new federal law.
