12 February 2018 Examination of current and proposed policy changes in the United States that would impact business immigration Businesses are increasing the number of employees who regularly cross borders, and many companies employ significant numbers of foreign nationals in the US. Increasing competition and the rapid pace of technological development also require companies to adopt a global strategy around talent acquisition, deployment and retention. At the same time, the Trump administration, some in Congress, and certain US federal authorities are taking an increasingly restrictive view of the role of international labor markets.
