Thailand reports on public consultation regarding new VAT rules for nonresident e-commerce

After Thailand's Revenue Department proposed a draft bill in relation to the Value Added Tax (VAT) rules for nonresident e-commerce, it invited the public to provide comments on the draft bill in early February 2018. The results of this public consultation were reported during the week of April 2. Of the 23 comments received, 17 expressed disagreement with the proposed draft bill while six were in agreement.
