Austria's Ministry of Finance publishes draft CFC rules

The Austrian Ministry of Finance published a draft of the Annual Tax Amendment Act 2018 on April 10. This draft bill includes major changes to the Austrian international tax regime, most importantly with regard to the implementation of controlled foreign company (CFC) rules as required by the European Union (EU) Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive (ATAD) and a corresponding amendment of the International Participation Exemption.
