Tax Policy Subcommittee to hold small business tax reform hearing

House Ways and Means Tax Policy Subcommittee Chairman Vern Buchanan (R-FL) has announced a hearing on how tax reform is helping small businesses grow their operations and invest in local communities and workers, to take place on Wednesday, May 23 (at 10:00 a.m.).

"Small businesses create most of the jobs in this country. When small businesses succeed, the American people succeed. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act's pro-growth policies will help them compete with larger corporations, grow their businesses, and reinvest in the economy," Chairman Buchanan said. "I look forward to hearing directly from the small business community about the ways that tax reform is helping them expand and invest in their workers."

The hearing will be the second in a series of Full Committee and Tax Policy Subcommittee hearings on the effects of tax reform, with the first held on May 16, 2018.
