Australia introduces bill into Parliament on hybrid mismatch tax rules

The Australian Government on May 23, introduced into Parliament the Australian implementation of the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development's Action 2 Neutralizing the Effect of Hybrid Mismatch Arrangements, in Treasury Laws Amendment (Tax Integrity and Other Measures No. 2) Bill 2018 (the Bill). The Bill contains the measures previously announced in the 2015-16 Budget and included in draft law released in November 2017 and March 2018.
