Panama's Minister for Foreign Affairs proposes bill to ratify the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent BEPS

On August 29, 2018, Panama's Minister for Foreign Affairs proposed Bill No. 6781 to the National Assembly to initiate the process of ratifying the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent BEPS (MLI).2

For more information on the MLI signed by Panama, please refer to Tax Alert 2018-0190.

A follow up Tax Alert will be issued once the bill is approved and enacted by the Executive Branch.
