24 July 2018 Chairman Brady releases Tax Reform 2.0 Framework House Ways & Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) has released the "House GOP Listening Session Framework, Tax Reform 2.0," which proposes to build on changes to the US tax code made by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) of 2017. The framework primarily focuses on: (1) making permanent the individual and small business tax cuts enacted under the TCJA; (2) improving retirement savings options and adding new savings options; and (3) allowing new business to write off more of their start-up costs.
