26 April 2019 Puerto Rico's Department of Labor and Human Resources institutes mandatory e-filing for unemployment quarterly return Puerto Rico's Department of Labor and Human Resources (PRDLHR) has announced that employers will be required to electronically file the unemployment quarterly return through the Employers' Portal beginning April 1, 2019. Employers must file the return and pay the tax due on or before April 30, 2019. Employers currently filing on paper have been pre-registered and should have received a letter with their username and password to access their electronic account. If not received, they should contact the PRDLHR to request that information.
