Russia's major tax code amendment bill submitted to State Duma

A bill proposing large-scale amendments to the Russian Tax Code was submitted to the State Duma on May 29. According to the explanatory note, the purpose of the bill is to implement the provisions of the Presidential Address of February 20 and the Key Budget, Tax and Customs Tariff Policy Objectives for 2019 and the 2020 - - 2021 Planning Period. The bill is currently undergoing a preliminary review by the State Duma Council. The bill is based on the draft legislative amendments proposed by the Finance Ministry in February this year.
