Mexico establishes rules for collecting VAT on digital services (Tax Analysts)

The Mexican President's 2020 economic package includes new rules affecting some digital platforms (digital reform). The economic package has been approved by the two houses of Congress and awaits signature by the president. The changes are part of a broader 2020 economic package, with most digital reform provisions taking effect June 1, 2020. The tax administration is required to issue implementation regulations before January 31, 2020.
