CDC's Redfield testifies before House Appropriations panel

The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies held a hearing June 4 on the COVID-19 Response with the CDC's Robert Redfield that focused on the need for greater COVID-19 testing overall and developing a better understanding of the disproportionate impact of the virus on minority communities, which may be boosted with the release on June 4 of an HHS directive on laboratory data reporting that requires inclusion of demographic information.
