Senate Small Business Committee grills Mnuchin, Carranza on Paycheck Protection Program, other CARES Act initiatives

Mnuchin supports additional stimulus; says Treasury will not disclose PPP borrowers; $130 billion remaining in PPP, including $13 billion returned by larger companies

The Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee on June 10 held a hearing on "Implementation of Title I of the CARES Act." The witnesses were Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Jovita Carranza, administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
