IRS postpones due dates for certain New Markets Tax Credit investments and expenditures

The IRS has postponed (Notice 2020-49) until December 31, 2020 the due dates for making investments and reinvestments and expending funds for construction of real property under IRC Section 45D. The due dates were originally between April 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020. A Tax Alert is forthcoming.
