LB&I announces that it is accepting new applicants for 2021 CAP program

The IRS's Large Business and International division (LB&I) is accepting new applications for its Compliance Assurance Process (CAP) program for tax year 2021. The application period runs from September 1, 2020 to November 13, 2020. The IRS will notify applicants if they are accepted into the program in February 2021. LB&I released updates for the 2021 CAP application period with several changes from the 2020 CAP year. A Tax Alert is forthcoming.
