Congress returns with election on the horizon

Despite the short time frame and narrow focus, the congressional session will impact the election. Election results will impact policy outcomes on tax and other issues for at least the next two years. Coronavirus and government funding are among the areas of focus, and outcomes will ripple to the elections and beyond.
