IRS issues final regulations on income tax withholding from wages

The IRS has issued final regulations (TD 9924) providing guidance for employers on income tax withholding from employees' wages. Underlying proposed regulations were issued in February 2020 (see Tax Alert 2020-0362). A Tax Alert on the regulations is forthcoming.
