Tuesday, October 13 | Final foreign tax credit regulations expand guidance on TCJA changes (1 pm ET)

Please join our panelists for an in-depth discussion of the recently released final foreign tax credit (FTC) regulations (TD 9922). With the final regulations, the Treasury Department continues to provide guidance under the foreign tax credit provisions of the Internal Revenue Code that were amended by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). Topics to be discussed on the webcast include:

  • Allocating and apportioning foreign income taxes between different income categories and income groupings within a category
  • Apportioning research and experimentation (R&E) expense
  • Accounting for foreign tax redeterminations
