European Union imposes further anti-dumping duties on steel imports

The European Commission has imposed definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of hot rolled stainless steel coils and sheets from Indonesia, China and Taiwan. The European Union (EU) will now charge additional duties of 17.3% on imports from Indonesia, of up to 19% on imports from China, and of up to 7.5% for imports from Taiwan.

The decision aims to remediate the perceived dumping-related damage caused to EU producers located mainly in Belgium, Finland, and Italy.

Further information on the EU trade defense actions can be found here. For details of this latest decision please refer to the EU Official Journal.
