Friday, February 5 | Decoding India Union Budget 2021-22: Impact and the way forward (11 am ET)

On February 1, India's Finance Minister will present the Union Budget 2021. What will be the Government's vision to aid economic growth post-pandemic? There is an expectation that the budget measures will play an important role in advancing India's path toward economic recovery. Industry experts are expecting a significant thrust in certain sectors including Infrastructure, Technology and Healthcare. Taxpayers are hoping for some fiscal support and tax impetus to help them recover from the pandemic impact. From an indirect tax perspective, the budget may consider further tax reforms for local manufacturing, as part of Atmanirbhar Bharat policy (Self Reliant India).
