April 20, 2021 2021-0807 Highlights of Canada's Federal Budget 2021-22 provided Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Finance Minister, Chrystia Freeland, tabled the federal budget 2021-22 on April 19. The budget contains tax measures affecting individuals and corporations. The Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Finance Minister anticipates a deficit of $354.2 billion for fiscal 2020-21 and $154.7 billion for fiscal 2021-22, with reduced deficits for each of the next four fiscal years.
