IRS extends tax deadlines to August 2 for taxpayers in counties affected by Tennessee spring storms

The IRS has announced (IR-2021-112) that it is extending to August 2, 2021, the May 17, 2021 tax deadlines for victims of this spring's storms and tornadoes in Tennessee. Taxpayers affected by storms, tornadoes, and flooding occurring from March 25 to April 3, 2021, in Tennessee counties listed in the press release are eligible.
