City of Eugene, Oregon revises wage brackets subject to Community Safety Payroll Tax effective July 1, 2021

The City of Eugene has released revised wage brackets for computing its Community Safety Payroll Tax for the period July 1, 2021 and through June 30, 2022. The tax rates remain unchanged. (City of Eugene Employee Payroll Tax rate charts.) For more information, see the City of Eugene website.

Two new Oregon local taxes apply in 2021

Effective January 1, 2021, two new Oregon local income taxes apply, the Portland Metro Supportive Housing Services Income Tax and the Multnomah County Preschool for All Income Tax. Beginning April 2021, employers could remit withholding tax payments and file returns for these new local taxes through the Portland Revenue Division.
